Hello! We are Matt & Georgia, creators of Perfectly Housed, a family run custom carpentry company in Plymouth, Devon.
We specialise in bespoke woodwork for both homes & yachts, and with a background in building and maintaining luxury super-yacht interiors, we pride ourselves on providing the highest standards.

BUILT-IN WARDROBES & DRESSING TABLE
We enhanced this master bedroom by adding fitted furniture, turning the off-centre chimney breast into a striking focal point!
Our wardrobes showcase shaker doors, providing generous storage space inside to keep things tidy and easily accessible.
The chimney breast has been clad, and now includes a dressing table with two drawers and an upper shelf equipped with integrated lighting, adding a touch of sophistication and creating the perfect ambiance.

UNDER STAIRS
STORAGE
We transformed the area beneath this tiny staircase into practical storage by installing two pull-out drawers with adjustable internal shelves for shoes.
Additionally, we fully lined the remaining cupboard space, adding a shelf with coat hooks below, and completed the look with shaker-style doors and a fresh white finish.

UTILITY SHELF
Our client asked for space to hang coats & jackets whilst leaving room for a pushchair & scooters.
So, we picked up the existing features in the space & built a full length chunky oak shelf with matte black coat hooks, creating plenty of storage with space below.

BARN WARDROBES
We created bespoke wardrobes to fit into tight alcove spaces with low ceilings, combining a mix of wood and painted finishes to compliment the existing exposed beams & gorgeous new interiors.
Each room features a double wardrobe with a mix of shelving & hanging rails for optimal storage space.
Our latest project saw us collaborate with the fantastic Amii Interiors to design fitted furniture for all 4 bedrooms in this beautiful barn conversion.

KITCHEN COFFEE BAR
We gave this kitchen corner an upgrade, turning the unused space into a beautiful & functional built-in coffee station.
Our design picks up existing features within the house, incorporating a mix of painted white shelving with a solid oak counter top. We also integrated the radiator into the unit, building discreet removable panels for access when needed.

This project features a sleek oak built-in cabinet with soft close push-to-open bullnose doors, and matching oak shelving above, all finished in a clear lacquer for a modern finish.

U-SHAPE SOFA REBUILD
Usually our client’s ask us to design & build something new, but occasionally we get asked to build something exactly as it was…
So, that’s precisely what we did on this classic super-yacht, removing this rotten U-shape sofa with adjustable table & entirely rebuilding back to its original design.

LIVING ROOM ALCOVE LOG STORE & SHELVING
Our rustic oak alcove shelving & fireplace log store have perfectly integrated into our client’s period home.

We love all the little details that went into this media wall! From the removable radiator panel to the mix of open shelving & cupboard with beautiful shaker doors, our built-in media wall perfectly houses our client’s TV & sound bar, and the integrated LED’s create the perfect mood lighting for a cosy night in.

CABIN SOLE PANEL RECONDITIONING
We repaired the sun damaged cabin sole of this yacht, stripping the old varnish from the panels, repairing badly damaged areas by splicing in new teak & holly veneer, & revarnishing the panels, replacing the screw cup washers for the perfect finish.

UNDER STAIRS PUPPY PEN
We designed and built an under stairs space with heavy duty wipeable panelled walls and laminate flooring, along with a multi functional bespoke oak & stainless steel gate built to:
- Keep our client’s pup in her new under stairs pen
- Swing across the hallway & lock to create a stair gate to stop dogs running down the steps to the kitchen.
BUILT-IN LAUNDRY
We created a custom built-in laundry space that matches the style of the client’s existing kitchen.
Features:
- Space for both a washing machine and tumble dryer
- Waterproof work-surface
- Built-in rail for hanging clothes
- Built-in cupboard and shelving unit suitable for housing laundry equipment

DOGHOUSE RESTORATION
The task on this classic yacht involved splicing in teak and revarnishing to colour-match the surrounding finish.

GARDEN FURNITURE
We designed and built this rustic style chunky outdoor sofa and coffee table.
Made from reclaimed Douglas Fir & styled with extra large ivory cushions for maximum comfort.
ENTRYWAY UPGRADE
We created a decorative yet functional entryway to perfectly house coats, shoes and accessories, and hide the existing radiator.
Features:
- Custom built-in radiator panel with removable design for radiator servicing
- Built-in shoe storage slots either side
- Shelf above the radiator for placing keys and bags
- Hooks to hang up coats & jackets
- Shelf at the top to house baskets for accessories

Our laundry was an empty cavity and under utilised so we were excited to see what Matt & Georgia could come up with. We loved their design to maximise the space that fits with the overall aesthetic of the house and they executed it perfectly. Looks like it was part of the build. Thanks again!
